McCoy Lecture
I learned that process is critical in a design. He talked a lot about scenarios and how to approach them. Mainly it is important to look, ask, envision, and try. Looking at your problem, asking around, envisioning the concept, and then executing it in various ways like fast prototypes. He went into detail with each one and that helped a lot in terms of where we are with our packaging design and in future projects. I can see what we did in our previous projects reflect on his lecture. In general, just how important process is and how to go about it. The most helpful thing I learned was to design with a zoom lens and how to get in and out of ideas. That's something that I know I need to work on personally.
