After reading the articles, it reinforced my ideas about Graphic Design. I've seen what Graphic Design can be and the articles just expand and support my knowledge of the topic. I liked the section on style in the article written by Hiebert because it described style as being something different from what I usually thought of it as. I didn't realize that it could have cons as well, like it "is easier to parody than to 'birth' a new form". I also liked the section about how Graphic Design can cross boundaries into other media because I love being able to work with different materials and still use my design skills as well.
