F+S

This poster designed by Ben Barry uses the layer, compound shape, and correspondence principles. The layering of circles along with the print of the snake wrapped around a branch creates depth along with compound shapes. The snake being transparent helps with the layering as well as making new shapes with the circle backgrounds. Correspondence is used because the circles in the background are similar shapes along with color, and since the colors overlay each other, they create new colors. Each circle also have smaller circles in them, creating a radial effect.
